Project Overview

Christie Brinkley Authentic Beauty is a women’s cosmetics brand led by supermodel, Christie Brinkley. Launched as a skincare line, the brand expanded into cosmetics in 2017. As a freelance Art Director and Photographer, I worked with the team to craft a brand storytelling concept for the launch of this new collection which was sold at Kohls, HSN and was featured in WWD Magazine.

My Role

As freelance Art Director + Photographer, I worked with the Marketing Director to conceptualize the visual direction of the launch including the vibe of ecomm + lifestyle imagery for social, web and email campaigns. I was on-set to take still imagery and video content of Christie and handled all post-production editing and delivered assets on a very tight deadline and within budget.

Solutions + Results

In launching a new category for the brand, the goal of this campaign was to create an elevated and modern aesthetic in imagery that would captivate audiences interested in luxury beauty. I met with Christie and the team at the Mark Hotel in NYC to capture imagery in an intimate setting - one that felt like a glimpse into how Christie gets ready before a night out. The social content featured elevated studio-style imagery with a product-first approach. I also photographed the ecomm imagery used on web for a cohesive look on all channels. In the end, the story was covered by WWD magazine and the collection was sold at Kohls + HSN.
